Some LinkedIn Basics.

By Marian Hackett

It has been a pleasure over recent years to be trusted, and engaged by organisations like NatWest, Aspen Waite, Funding Circle, and others to present on LinkedIN for Business purposes.

We have found as an organisation that there is both hunger and ignorance for many business owners, eager to understand this platform better and how it may help them build their business.

At the time of writing, am busy preparing for a series of workshops on LinkedIn so have got the bug…

Well I’d like to share just a few tips on profiles, and how to have a brilliant one.

Professional Photo: A clear, professional headshot exudes credibility and approachability. Avoid background Clutter
Banner Image: Something engaging that represents visually and clearly what you do.
Compelling Headline: Use this space to showcase your expertise and value proposition succinctly.
Summary: Craft a concise yet engaging summary that highlights your skills, experiences, and career goals.
Detailed Experience: Describe your professional journey with specific accomplishments and responsibilities, showcasing your impact in each role.

Happy LinkedIn-ing…….
